АнглийскийTED Conference is amazing It's full of knowledge and inspiration in various subjects from all over the world. So many people, so many stories, so many visions of the world, so much astonishing information... Though I'm mostly interested in Technology and science topics, the Entertainment part did not pass me by. The guy in videos below, James Veitch, looks like a quintessential nerd, weird and clumsy for some extent, with thick glasses in a wide frame. So the talk headed «This is what happens when you reply to spam email» is expected to be about security precautions. Suddenly, it's not, and the speaker turns out to be a comedian, not sharing "ideas worth spreading", but narrating the story of how he was making fun of spammers. While I would not risk to answer spam email, knowing how intricate a phishing attack can be, that lad made my day.
By the way, he's the only person whose talks Lingualeo offered me to watch twice. The second video, «The agony of trying to unsubscribe» had similar subject, about obtrusive email advertising. He seems to amuse himself this way from time to time, and there are some more such videos on youtube, but for me those two were enough. Maybe I'll watch his other internet adventures later, I'm not sure. Anyway, he entertained me greatly
